The Journey
Petal Drop Weddings was built on the belief that every celebration deserves to be thoughtful, personal, and unforgettable. At the heart of it are our founders, Deepanshu and Ashutosh — two friends turned business partners who combined their love for design, culture, and storytelling to bring a fresh perspective to wedding planning in India.

Meet The Founders
Hi I am Deepanshu!
This work didn’t start with spreadsheets or checklists. It started years ago, in the middle of college fests I had organised, watching artists like Papon and Salim–Sulaiman light up a crowd — and feeling that spark that comes when all the chaos suddenly feels like magic.

I’ve always been drawn to work that demands presence, creativity, and a deep attention to small things. In 2019, that instinct became Petal Drop Weddings. Since then, I’ve learned that planning a wedding is no less than a storm — and my role is to bring calm to the sea so you can actually experience your day, not just move through it.
​
I stay closely involved in every celebration, working alongside an assistant planner and a core team of three to four on site. Every decision is made with your vision at its centre, and every detail is shaped to tell your story.
Over time, I’ve built a seamless planning system for couples who want to be fully present on their wedding day — free from the noise, immersed in the moments.
Because a wedding isn’t just something to plan.

For me, this work is about more than timelines and checklists — it’s about creating the kind of structure that lets beauty breathe. I’ve spent over eight years orchestrating destination and luxury weddings, learning that the magic only happens when the behind-the-scenes runs seamlessly.

I’m at my best in the spaces most people avoid — the quiet corners where logistics are solved before they become problems, where precision meets instinct. My role is to hold the day steady so the moments can unfold exactly as they should.
Every celebration we take on is led with intention, supported by a trusted team, and tailored to the rhythm of the event. Whether it’s a multi-day destination celebration or an intimate gathering, I stay closely involved from the earliest conversations to the final guest departure, ensuring that what we’ve planned together becomes exactly what you remember.
